Get Active!

Franklin County Public Health aims to help create great places and spaces that encourage physical activity and also foster social interactions, a sense of community and a feeling of safety.

The Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans recommends adults achieve 150 minutes of physical activity a week, which would be 30 minutes for 5 days a week. It recommends children achieve 60 minutes of physical activity daily.
