COMMUNITY ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
Community Environmental Health promotes and protects the health and safety of residents through preventative health programs.
PLUMBING & MEDICAL GAS
Our Plumbing Program provides registration of all plumbing contractors and their employees, and inspections of all commercial and residential plumbing installations.
SEPTIC & SEWAGE
The Water Quality Program monitors the proper treatment and disposal of all wastewater for household and small flow and semi-public sewage treatment systems in a manner which will protect surface and groundwater from contamination.
WATER QUALITY
The Water Quality Section is responsible for administering Chapter 3701-28 of the Ohio Administrative Code (private water system rules).
FOOD SAFETY
The Food Safety Program is primarily responsible to protect the community against foodborne illnesses resulting from health code violations and improper handling of food.
REGULATIONS
This section contains Franklin County Public Health regulations, which explain the technical, operational, and legal details necessary to implement laws.
SUSTAINABILITY
Our sustainability Section includes our Lead and Healthy Homes programs, public health nuisance complaints, Solid Waste Facility inspections as well as climate change and sustainability efforts.
