Inspection Services

Plan Review and Permits

  • Plan review and permits are required by the Ohio Plumbing Code for commercial and residential buildings. This is for both new builds and renovations.
  • The costs for plan review and permits vary based on the project size and scope.
  • Homeowners are allowed to install plumbing only in a residence they occupy.

Franklin County Public Health is pleased to provide online access to services online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to conduct day-to-day business tasks that previously required paper applications, paper building plans, and payment only by check or cash. This system will also provide secure payment by credit/debit card.
