Tom Albanese

Tom Albanese serves as the Associate Director of Community Shelter Board (CSB) and has provided planning, development, and implementation support for housing and homeless programs since 1992.
Previously, Tom served as a Principal Associate with Abt Associates, where he led national technical assistance efforts for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Priority Communities, Vets@Home, and other initiatives. He has assisted a variety of states and localities with developing and improving homeless crisis response systems, including serving as HUD’s lead technical assistance provider on homeless assistance for New York City and the state of California, among other communities. Prior to Abt, Tom served as Director of Programs and Planning for CSB and as Associate Director for Family & Community Services, Inc., in Northeast Ohio.
